The Hippo Tang (Paracanthurus hepatus) is a species of surgeonfish that features deep blue, yellow, and black patterning. It is found in the Eastern Pacific and Indian Oceans. It is depicted in this sculpture on a tube or "organ pipe" coral (Tubipora musica).
